GONZÁLEZ-CRUZ, ANABEL
Anabel González-Cruz obtained an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Santiago de Compostela in June 1998. In October 1998 she was admitted to the PhD Programme in English Linguistics and from October 2000 to March 2003 she worked at the Department of English of the University of Santiago de Compostela as a researcher of the Autonomous Government of Galicia. From September 2004 to June 2005 Anabel taught at the Department of Hispanic Studies of the University of Liverpool and in July 2005 she passed the national examination qualifying her for a permanent position as teacher of English at the Official School of Languages. She is now preparing a PhD on the development of English adverbial clauses, under the supervision of María José López-Couso.
